A new poll has revealed how much mortgage customers value the services of their mortgage brokers.
Of the 1,500 surveyed by Legal Marketing Services, 83% said their mortgage brokers were good value for money and 55% described them as ‘very fast’.
Brokers contrasted very favourably with conveyancers, with only 44% describing their conveyancer as good value, and just 14% saying they were ‘very fast’.
A majority felt that the most stressful part of the process was the conveyancing, while 54% said the mortgage process was ‘stress free’. In other findings, almost two-thirds thought the conveyancing process could be improved through technology.
