The Sponsored Family Walk from Shoreham to Worthing and back again, raises money for a great cause.
It all happens on Sunday the 27th of February, starting at 10:30am
The Sponsored Family Walk is Adur Special Needs Project’s first fund raising venture of this kind, and our team will walk either the five or the 10-mile route dependant on capabilities, blisters and creaking hip joints!
We are hoping to do ‘our bit’ this year and we would love to have your support.
Adur Special Needs Project (ASNP) are passionate about helping children and young people with registered special needs and disabilities enjoy life to the full.
ASNP run twenty play schemes on Saturdays throughout the year – giving children a space to grow their self-confidence, sense of self-esteem, and communication skills.
Fully booked, each of the twenty play sessions would cost £2,619 and so, while we start with a modest target of raising £500, what we would really like – with your help – is to raise at least the £2,619 to cover the cost of a whole session.
Please sponsor us for as much as you can spare – literally any sum will help us toward the target, so please never think that those few pounds that you have spare won’t make a difference – it will.
What is Adur Special Needs Project (ASNP)?
Adur Special Needs Project – Charity for Children with Special Needs
The Charity has three main objectives:
- They aim to help children with registered Special Educational Needs (SEN) and disabilities to develop and become the best they can in their lives.
- To give the families some respite time so that they can focus on activities that are exceedingly difficult normally.
- To employ and train Play Assistants aged from 16 years and upwards in paediatric care and development.
You can help Pembroke’s Plodders raise money for this great cause by donating directly to our fundraising page.
JustGiving sends your donation straight to ASPN and automatically reclaims Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer, so your donation is worth even more.
Thank you so much for your support! We will let you know how we get on.
