Stephen Bridges DipPFS, MA
Senior Financial Planner
Having worked in financial services – and wealth management in particular – for more than 30 years, I have definitely seen a lot a change in my time.
And while watching paperwork grow exponentially has not always been fun, there is no doubt that the change from early days to present day, has been hugely positive with better documentation and better products available for clients.
Interestingly, the one thing that hasn’t changed during that time is client needs. They have remained largely the same: that is, the need for reliable, well-informed advice from someone who listens; advice that can deliver clear routes to help them achieve their financial objectives.
One of the best aspects of my role is that it has enabled me to develop long-term relationships with clients and I am very mindful that it is a position of real trust.
I have spent more than half of my financial services career at this firm. There is no doubt that being part of a larger firm makes the role of advising much easier and I do enjoy the collaborative approach that has developed over the years; something I think really does improve client outcomes.
One of the biggest undertakings we embarked upon as a firm was to establish our own client investment solution which has been designed to produce low-cost access to global investment markets.
For the past 8 years, I have chaired the Pier Investment Committee and this role continues to be one of my most challenging and fulfilling.
I have always found Pembroke friendly and efficient.
Superb attention. Very personalised prompt service. The team are excellent and I felt they always had my best interests at heart. I shall be continuing to use their services. Thank you!
Would highly recommend. A very efficient team always ready to help and answer any questions.
From a personal point of view Pembroke Financial Services has always provided an efficient and friendly service with relevant advice. As a client of my firm, the company has always acted in a professional manner.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you very much for all the clear financial advice you have given not only Sue and I, but my family over many years.
