Chartered Financial Planner

I have worked in financial services since 1982, initially with leading building societies and insurance companies before becoming an adviser in 1992 at Woolwich Independent Financial Services. A career within Woolwich Barclays led to senior management positions culminating with holding a Regional Manager position for Barclays’ independent adviser team.

I then moved, in 2004, to running the American Express financial services business. After Amex FS was bought by a large national IFA, I held senior positions within the Thinc /Bluefin advice network, and AXA.

In 2010, I joined Steve Antram in expanding Antrams Financial Services and have focused on advice to high-net-worth clients ever since. I also work on the Defined Benefit transfer advice committee as a specialist in this area.

I am a Chartered Financial Planner and have achieved the fellowship from the Personal Finance Society. Becoming a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society shows that I have attained and maintained the most prestigious level of professional achievement. This demonstrates my knowledge and technical capability and my ongoing commitment to professional development.

I am also a Pension Transfer Specialist (PTS) able to advise on complex pension areas including advice on Defined Benefit pension schemes.

I have been married to Elise for 26 years and have two fantastic daughters. I am a very keen golfer having played longer than I have worked, but still not got the hang of the game!
