Jo Penly FPFS, Chartered FCSI (Financial Planning), CFPTM
Chartered Financial Planner
I started working in financial planning in 1999 and for the next 13 years worked in administrative, research and compliance roles whilst also completing my qualifications and gaining an in-depth understanding of the many facets of financial planning.
In 2012, while working within the financial planning arm of a regional firm of accountants, I started to provide advice to clients and continued to do so within two regional IFA firms until I joined Pembroke. I am delighted to still be working with some of the same clients I started out with in 2012.
Although I am a holistic Financial Planner and have a wide base of knowledge in all areas, I have a particular interest and expertise in helping clients both in the approach to and throughout retirement, as well as in later life.
Financial planning has never been so important when, for some, retirement can be an equivalent timescale to their working life. Whether it is navigating complex pension issues, advice on how best to generate an income from a variety of assets, preserving capital or planning for the next generation, I enjoy working with my clients on an ongoing basis, building a lasting relationship with advice they can trust.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, including my energetic young niece and nephew, keeping fit and cycling.
Thanks again Jo! I definitely wouldn’t be doing this trip without your advice and support! I really do appreciate how brilliantly you do what you do and absolutely recognise the difference it has made to how I am living my retirement years! Thank you.
