Very pleased with Pembroke, Paul in particular was incredibly helpful over a couple of in-person meetings and then numerous emails to select a mortgage and get the application completed. My previous experience of other brokers was not great, they were pushy and tried to sell me overpriced insurance on top. But Pembroke were not like that. I had many questions about various things (interest-only, retirement mortgages, risk etc) and Paul listened to what I was trying to achieve long-term and advised me on what’s feasible and what to avoid for now. He and Julie found us a good deal for our initial remortgage, navigating a bunch of issues with different lender’s requirements.
