Kim Young
Head of Client Support
I have worked in financial services for 35 years after previously working in claims at Friends Provident.
I began as admin support to one IFA and progressed to become a Paraplanner.
I have passed FP1, 2 and 3 (financial planning qualifications) but have always preferred the research, problem-solving and report-writing aspects of financial services.
As part of a small partnership, I provided this support, together with office management, to two advisers for 16 years before the partnership joined Pembroke, at which time I was asked to run the adviser support team.
In my spare time, I have coached junior netball for many years and although I no longer coach, I still play netball for a local team. I enjoy cycling, swimming and skiing and love to travel and spend time with my family.
