Prior to joining Davenport (Abbott Financial at that time) in 2004, David was employed by Aviva as their pensions technical manager for the Thames Valley. He specialises in pension issues and is particularly active in the areas of pension transfers and the income options available at retirement. He started in financial services in 1986, as a Pensions Inspector with Scottish Life, before joining Aviva in 1999. Outside of work his main interests are family, cricket, tennis and golf.
