Bernie Chandler

Bernie joined GMIFC in November 2016, initially on a temporary contract to cover maternity leave, and then was invited to stay on permanently to manage the monthly reconciliations on the income account, process the adviser charges and commission payments. Bernie also works on the corporate client servicing, keeping member information up to date and other administrative tasks.

Bernie’s background before GMIFC was in Accounts. She spent twelve years as a senior accounts clerk for a mechanical and engineering company whilst completing AAT courses in her own time.

Having spent four years at University in Wales and Wisconsin, USA, Bernie developed a love of travel. Having spent two years working in Jamaica at a scuba dive centre, she then seven years working in the aircraft industry enjoying travel to multiple countries and continents.

In her free time, Bernie still loves to travel around the UK, Europe, and further afield, spending time with her family, and keeping fit by running and hiking.
