Jamie had an 18-year career at a large aerospace company. This included working across business divisions to plan resource levels and manage a project controls function. He decided to change career and pursue his passion to help people with their finances.
It’s not always how much money you make, but how much money you keep, how hard it works for you, and how many generations you keep it for.
– Robert T. Kiyosaki
Early 2021, he set up and ran his own mortgage broker business and in 2022 achieved the CII Diploma in Financial Planning, enabling him to become a financial adviser. He is also qualified to provide Equity Release advice as well as help people protect their loved ones via his knowledge of life insurance, income protection and critical illness cover. He is particularly attracted to Pembroke’s emphasis on ethical investing. Jamie enjoys providing an excellent service by listening to a client’s aims, goals and concerns and then help develop a plan to address these.
Outside of work, Jamie loves spending time with his wife and three daughters. Jamie loves exploring the Sussex countryside with friends, whether walking or on a stand-up paddle board (when he is not falling in!). He also enjoys keeping fit and has run both the London and the Brighton marathons.
Just to let you know we had a really good session with Jamie Clay yesterday- he was very warm, easy to talk to, listened to our concerns, answered our questions and we found him very helpful and not at all patronising. We’re looking forward to working with him over the years to come.
I just wanted to let you know how impressed I have been with the very professional way in which Jamie Clay has dealt with a number of queries I have had with regard to my Wrap investment generally and the transfer to Pier in particular. He has answered and explained various points that I have raised with patience and courtesy, for which I am most grateful to him for and which is very much appreciated.
