Emma Annis is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the Financial Services and Banking sectors. Throughout her career, she has developed a strong foundation in customer service, operational management, and quality assurance — all underpinned by her adaptable, people-focused approach.
For 17 years, Emma worked within Lloyds Banking Group, where she held a variety of roles across different departments. Her positions included Team Manager, Communications Officer, and Colleague Quality Assurance Tester, each offering valuable insight into internal operations, customer experience, and regulatory standards. These roles allowed Emma to build a diverse and transferable skill set, combining leadership, compliance, communication, and performance monitoring.
Before joining Lloyds, Emma spent several years working as a mortgage underwriter in the sub-prime market, where she gained first-hand experience in risk assessment, application processing, and lending criteria. Her time in mortgage underwriting strengthened her analytical skills and deepened her understanding of the broader financial landscape.
Emma is known for her collaborative working style, attention to detail, and calm, professional manner. She thrives in fast-paced environments where accuracy, communication, and customer satisfaction are key. Whether supporting internal teams or working directly with clients, Emma brings reliability, clarity, and a solutions-focused mindset.
Outside of her career in financial services, Emma is passionate about health and wellbeing. She enjoys staying active and has recently joined a women’s football team — combining fitness with fun and teamwork. She also loves spending quality time with her family and friends and is always up for trying new restaurants or enjoying meals out together.
