Ian Potter Biography
Ian started working in the Financial Services Industry during the 1980’s but left the industry to pursue a career in the army. First serving as a Sergeant in the Grenadier Guards, after which he joined the Police Force, where he served for over 20 years, before retiring in early 2017.

Since then, he has been working as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser and specialises in providing advice on residential, buy to lets, commercial and specialist lending. As well as giving advice on all related insurance products such as personal protection (life cover, income protection and family protection), business protection and landlord insurance. In March 2020 Ian qualified in Equity Release and has recently gained experience in this field.
Ian’s passion is providing good service to his clients, which he achieves by drawing on all of his previous experience which required an extremely strong attention to detail and continuous training and professional development. He strongly believes that good manners and loyalty cost nothing, key attributes that he brings to the service he offers his clients and professional connections.
When Ian isn’t at work he enjoys traveling and holidaying in the Greek Islands with his wife and family. He also enjoys going to the gym, running and walking over the South Downs.
