Pembroke are Independent Financial Advisers, which means we can offer completely impartial, objective advice on financial products and services.
We will research the entire market to find the right solution that works for your personal circumstances.
After our initial consultation and when we meet with you to start the process, we will firstly listen to your financial requirements and find the most suitable solutions to meet them. Secondly, we will agree with you the method and regularity of future contact with us. For this we offer two different options for ongoing management to best suit your own personal requirements.
Areas we offer financial advice and services:
- Pension and retirement income products
- Investments and investment portfolio management
- Tax planning to minimise Income, Capital Gains and Inheritance taxes
- Life assurance, critical illness cover, income protection and private medical insurance
- Mortgage funding
We work with:
- Individuals and their family members
- Businesses, their owners, managers and their employees
- Trustees and their professional advisers
Our services and fees agreement
Should you decide to proceed with our services, we will ask you to sign our Fee Agreement documents.
If we need to consult with any professional advisers or financial services providers with whom you have an agreement, we will always ask for your consent first.
Financial planning fees
Our Financial Planning services and fees are charged on a tiered scale.
This means that the relevant fee percentage is applied progressively depending on the amount you invest as illustrated below. The fee is normally collected from your investments, although it is possible to pay separately if you prefer.
TIER ONE
3.0%
TIER TWO
1.0%
TIER THREE
0.75%
TIER FOUR
0.5%
A tiered scale of fees applies, meaning that the relevant fee or fee percentage is applied progressively.
Example: Client with total funds to invest of £125,000… Tier 1 fee of £3,000 (£100,000 x 3%) added to Tier 2 fee of £250 (£25,000 x 1%) equals a total fee of £3,250.
Should we undertake analysis and reporting work on your behalf, but you decide not to take up our recommendations, we reserve the right to charge you a fee to cover our time.
This will typically be represented by a rate of £170 per hour with a minimum fee of £415.
For financial planning work which results in regular savings only (not lump sums) into a specific tax wrapper, or wrappers, our typical initial fee charged is a flat fee of £245. This covers both the Advisory and Administration input. The fee can be paid by cheque at the implementation stage of the process or, alternatively, taken on the first anniversary of the investment from the accumulated investment fund.
Reviewing and managing your finances
In our experience, regular reviews of your financial plan are key to achieving longer-term goals because it’s unlikely that your circumstances will remain the same.
Reviews will highlight any issues and give us the opportunity to make any alterations that are needed. We normally charge a percentage of the investment for ongoing services, making it in our interest to maximise your investment. Pembroke offer two options for ongoing review and management, Active Money Management and Foundation Finance.
